About Eleanor C

English & French tutor

Hi! I'm Eleanor, I'm an undergraduate studying English and French at Oxford University (based in London in the holidays). I'm really enthusiastic about both my subjects, and I love helping others to improve in and enjoy them as much as I do. I am happy to teach GCSE level and below in English Literature and AS level and below in French. Having recently sat my A levels and GCSEs, I am familiar with the curriculum for both English and French and am confident in assisting with exam technique as well as offering help improving knowledge, understanding and interest in the subject.

I also have experience assisting younger students with reading and literacy skills, having taken part in a shared reading scheme aimed at improving reading skills and encouraging enthusiasm of students in their early high school years, as well as undertaking a year's work experience in a primary school where I worked with children to develop basic reading and literacy skills.

Whatever level of tutoring is required, I am happy to tailor the style of teaching to the individual's needs and wishes, and, where relevant, exam board or areas of study.
