I am an English literature graduate and I work as a freelancer, I do proof-reading and editing, promotion and advertisement. I've tutored a few students doing their undergraduate English literature degrees, and all have continued on further with remarkable grades.
I am happy to teach students at GCSE, A level and those doing an English literature degree. I am also happy to proof-read and edit students essays. I found English literature enjoyable at school when I could provide my own opinions and ideas to counter argue statements and movements. I like to brainstorm different ideas with my students based on their essays or exams, giving them a chance to write something they truly enjoy. I am also happy to do exam preparation with students, all I need are the texts that will be in the exams and the marking criteria provided.
