About Richard B

Online tutor, Maths & Science to GCSE

I'm Richard Bowles, a private tutor with considerable experience of teaching a variety of subjects including maths, English, French (both spoken and grammatical) and Computer Studies up to GCSE level. In these times of enforced isolation, it is more vital than ever that children don't miss out on their education, so I have moved online using Zoom.

I adapt my teaching to fit the curriculum that you're following, and the hours that are most suitable to you. The cost is £15 per hour, although the first trial lesson is free. Lessons are typically an hour long, although I am flexible regarding time. Students also have access to my large library of practice sheets and educational resources.

I have seven A-levels (Maths, Further maths, Physics, Chemistry, French, German and Music) and both an M.Phil. (Southampton University) and Ph.D. (Middlesex University) in Computer Science.
