About Rosie C
PhD qualified Chemistry tutor
I am currently a scientist within the medical devices industry. Having completed a degree, masters and PhD in chemistry, I have a full and thorough understanding of all aspects of this fascinating subject.
I am patient and enthusiastic, with a passion to nurture the scientist in every individual. I have a range of experiences, from teaching practical chemistry at degree level, to explaining concepts to students and providing 1:1 support to students through projects, along with exam preparation.
Many students may find chemistry scary or daunting. My aim is to eliminate this by breaking the concepts down into easy to understand chunks. Scientific concepts can be explained in a non scientific way making them more manageable for students, regardless of ability. By finding a unique way of teaching and learning, tailored to the individuals needs, I can help every student realize their potential.
