Drama & English Tutor - Dyslexia support
In the few short years that I have been out of Drama School and being in the world of performing I have have worked extensively with children and young people (in a theatre setting) enthusing them to learn and see learning as fun and entertaining. Therefore in my sessions I try to breathe life into learning and finding fun alternatives to further learning.
I'm also on the Dyslexic spectrum and understand the frustration that comes with it, either the lack of help from teachers who don't understand or from within yourself. I want Dyslexic students to feel comfortable and on a level playing field never to feel behind or slow and to understand in themselves that Dyslexia is nothing to be ashamed of rather the opposite. An ex teacher of mine described Dyslexia as a Super Power not a flaw, I teach and live my life by that advice.
