I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with experience teaching ages 11-18.
I utilise contemporary pedagogy to inform an evidence based practice that, as well as having roots in science, is rooted in empathy and understanding.
I consider myself a highly flexible tutor who understands the nuances of learning and revision. I understand that Mathematics content can be challenging but I have been commended on my ability to scaffold for all students and provide a means of accessing the content at any level.
Mathematics is a subject in which there a many opportunities for objective understanding and it is my firm believe that anyone can achieve a good level of proficiency given they put in the required hours and receive the right amount of support and teaching.
