About Filipa T

Online Tutor Biology and/Or Maths!

I am currently a Biomedical Science student at University of Warwick! I would love to help you out with any Biology or Maths related learning. I achieved an A* in Biology A Level, As in both Maths and Further Maths A Levels and have gone on to successfully study a subject that combines the two; hence I have the knowledge and the skills to help you achieve your absolute best and reach your top potential in these subjects.

My teaching approach closely follows the exam curriculum but also supports and encourages the students intellectual curiosity about the subject. Exams are important and an organised, methodical revision strategy will help increase academic confidence and reduce any stress surrounding learning. I aim to tailor my teaching around the learning style of the student and incorporate multiple types of resources including visual diagrams, scientific reading, video explanations and past paper questions.
