Hi, my name is Megan and I am currently a 3rd year medical student at Plymouth university. Along side medical school I am part of the surfing society which is great fun (I have defiantly fallen of the board more times than i have managed to stand up). Recently I did a project on helping students applying to medicine through the interview process, if you have any questions or are looking for advice I'd be more than happy to help.
In 2019 I achieved my a levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology, and an As level in Psychology. I absolutely love my science subjects! I know exams and school in general is stressful, I am here to help you and build your confidence.
As a tutor I bring a lot of enthusiasm to sessions, which is important as no one wants to be taught by someone who hates the subject. I provide clear explanations of concepts including alternative routes to the answer. I tailor every session to the students needs, together with what the student wants to learn about and how the student learns best. If you are not sure how you learn best I am happy to try different teaching techniques to see what best suits you :)
