About Oscar R

Enthusiastic maths and economics tutor and undergraduate

An enthusiastic, fun and dedicated tutor with a passion for helping those younger than me. As an undergraduate, I am still very familiar with the GCSE and A level content and structure. I have a logical mind and an ability to break down complex problems into smaller and more manageable tasks which I can then explain. I am from a family of teachers in which my dad was a headteacher, my mum has been a teacher for over 30 years and my sister has just started teaching! Therefore, I have grown up around teaching and often volunteered within the classroom hearing readers. More recently, I have helped manage a kids camp for disadvantaged children for the last two years and worked at a Christian holiday camp. Within theses role, I helped to organise and run a range of activities from learning based activities, to sports and crafts. I am excited to work with new students and help them achieve their academic goals.
